History
Foundation of the Store
1 December, 1991On December 1, 1991, Maria Helena and Joaquim Pinho founded, in a small store on Avenida Camilo Tavares de Matos, in the heart of Vale de Cambra, Ourivesaria Pinho. New to this field, and with very little knowledge in the area, but already with a futuristic business vision, they sought to know what was necessary to open doors on the day of Saint Elói, protector of goldsmiths. As a result of their effort and total dedication, they were successful in the business in the first year by creating a portfolio of loyal customers, the majority of whom remain to this day.
During the first 2 years
1991-1993During the first 2 years, Maria Helena was the face of the store, working on all fronts: purchasing, service, display, repairs and recordings. Joaquim supported, part-time, finance and accounting, while he maintained a full-time job in another company. In 1993, the growth of the business made him take up the Goldsmithing business full time.
Growth
1994-2010A year later, in 1994, the first employee joined the store, Maria Benilde Silva, bringing the number of workers to three in just three years.
Over time, popular brands were represented by OP, but 2010 was marked by the arrival of the emblematic PANDORA®, a brand it still represents today.
Social media
May de 2011In 2011, the company opened its Facebook account, a profile it currently maintains, thus entering social networks. Four years later, he joined Instagram, currently the leading sharing platform.
New Space
May 14 de 20122012 was, without a doubt, a watershed: at a time when the socioeconomic situation in our country was not favorable, Maria Helena and Joaquim showed once again the power of their futuristic vision, taking risks: the small commercial space where they were the company’s headquarters was replaced by a new space on the same avenue, this time larger, more modern and sophisticated.

2012-2019Having been based in this new space for over a decade, OP already has 3 more employees who have joined the initial staff and continues to work hard to represent the most renowned jewelry and watch brands in the national and international market, such as: Seiko, Jaguar, Pequignet, Pandora, Eugénio Campos, Franco Vieira, Tommy Hilfiger, One, among others…
2nd Generation
December de 2022In 2022, the 2nd generation proudly entered the management of the company, with the arrival of Susana and André Vaz.
With a renewed perspective on what business is today, they worked, during their first year at the company, to modernize the way they sell, always trying to preserve the values that were brought here: transparency and honesty.

January de 2024Thus, and with the prospect of growing across borders and trying to keep up with the current sales reality, at the beginning of 2024, just over 32 years after the opening of its first physical store, the website and online store was born.
